- Takara version features a more G1 accurate paint scheme than the Hasbro version
- Headmaster Gorter can ride in Highbrow and transforms into his head
- Headmaster pilot Gorter is also very different and is modeled after his head in the cartoon
- Also includes an additional figure named Karugo which transforms from a tank to a vehicle that Gorter can ride
